Joseph A. Romano
President and Founder
Joseph A. Romano, CFP®, is the President and Founder of Romano & Romano Financial, LLC. He has offered investment and financial services to clients since 1996. Prior to his experience in this industry, he was a financial analyst with the McNeil Consumer Products division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Romano graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Finance and a Minor in Business Law. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner since 1999. Mr. Romano is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.
Mr. Romano served as the Vice President of Development on the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association Philadelphia Tri-State Area from 2000 to 2010. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Health Promotion Council, which is a nonprofit corporation that promotes health management and disease prevention to underserved populations. Mr. Romano also served on of the Finance Committee for St. Rose of Lima Church in North Wales, PA, from 2003 to 2014. He is also a member of the Financial Services Institute. Carol E. Romano, CFP®, is the Director of Operations for Romano & Romano Financial, LLC. She has been employed in the financial services industry since 1995. Ms. Romano holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Villanova University. She has also completed doctoral work at The Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Romano was previously employed by Radnor Financial Advisors in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She has also held adjunct faculty positions at Villanova University, The Pennsylvania State University, Cabrini College, and Montgomery County Community College. Ms. Romano is not a Registered Representative or Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.
